Frontier Trail’s boys' basketball program emphasizes hard work, discipline, and team spirit. Open to seventh and eighth grade students, we generally keep 15 players per team.

Frontier Trail’s girls' basketball teams is open for seventh and eighth grade students. We generally keep 15-18 players per team. Girls' basketball at Frontier Trail is more than a sport — it’s an opportunity to connect, grow, and show Jaguar pride.

Cross-country is open to any student in sixth through eighth grade at Frontier Trail. Sixth graders and seventh graders run a one-mile race over grassy terrain and eighth graders run a two-mile race in the meets. Cross-country is a fun, co-ed, short season and a great way to get involved at school and make some friends.

Football is open to all seventh and eighth grade students. There are no tryouts.
Any seventh or eighth grader interested in playing football needs to check out equipment before the first day of practice. The first day of practice is Aug. 15. A practice calendar will be given to players at equipment checkout.

Track is offered to girls and boys grades six-eight. The track meets are dual meets against other middle schools in Olathe.

Volleyball is a tryout sport and is open for seventh and eighth grade girls.
